Another reason I'm thankful to live in the Gainesville area is because of all the great State Parks in the area. Here's an image taken of the outside of the old farmhouse at Dudley Farm State Park. I loved the reflection of the trees in the window. A large image looks much better because the old glass has swirls in it and the window looks like a Van Gogh painting. I used a friend's 16-35mm lens to get the angle I wanted.

Old glass is just wonderful, and I like the superposition of the reflection and the things that can be seen inside the window. The perspective in the horizontal direction is attractive, but I'd be inclined to skew the image to align the verticals with the sides of the frame. That would also enlarge the window, thereby emphasizing the reflection.
Love the window! Dennis' suggestion sounds good. I'd love to see that version.

At least in Photoshop CS6, there's a Skew option under Edit>Transform. I alternately moved the handles at the upper corners outward until the lines that are really vertical on the house were vertical in the image. Moving one handle affects the other, so it's probably best to overcompensate knowing that the alignment will be changed when the other handle is moved. It took several nudges to get it right.
Hi, Dennis, I like yours. I used CS5 and did it the same way - Edit>Transform>Skew. I didn't pull the handles on the right as much as you did. For some reason I'm attached to that window in the ULC. I like them both and like both of them better than the original. Thanks for helping me see another vision:S3:

I love the image. I'm a sucker for reflections in windows and it's a bonus that you can see what's inside also. I'm with Denise, somewhere in between the 2 would get my vote.
Lovely image, Cheryl, and well seen. I like the reflections and the detail in the wood. I agree with Denise and Judy that somewhere in between would work for me. Personally I would have preferred not cutting off the top of the window.
So good to see the versions and what you all did. Hard to choose. It is an old house, so a skew sort of fits.
