Original shot was taken in Alaska, near the Mendenhall glacier (Juneau)... the black bears were polishing off a dwindling supply of sockeye salmon at the park and you could stand at the boardwalk and watch them. they were so close it was crazy... closer than you can get to zoo bears actually... and they were doing such interesting things.. running up and down the small river chasing salmon.. too bad the light was terminally horrible.. I had to use high ISO, low dof.. there were so many people the rangers wouldnt let me use a tripod.. so it was handheld... with my good ol 20D.. man... I wish I had the 1D mk III then!!.. Ive GOT to go back and do it again.... it rained 18 straight days... then one day it only was cloudy... lol.. man.. I dont think I could live there.. I NEED to see some sun!....

Ditto to all the above......from the thumbnail i thought the green to be out of place.........but after looking at the larger version.....it balances the strong reds nicely.

it really does make a nice print.. I printed it on canvas and it sold pretty quick....
