I was looking for a subject for triptych when I recollected taking a series of images of this funny snowy encounter few years back. I selected these frames and the color transition as a continuum... starting with provocation, fight and calm. I used lots of steps to get here... used Topaz Adjust with different settings for the color transition. Also used layer mask to bring back some of the details. Hope you like it...

Very imaginative. I like the story that unfolds, and the colors help to tell it. This the kind of thing that makes a great triptych.

That is an interesting exchange between the birds. Nicely captured and they work well as a triptych.

Snowy egrets are such bullies. They crack me up. Great use of colors.

Snowy egrets are SO territorial about what they perceive as prime perches...great behavioral series, and a good choice for the theme. I love that first image...you'd almost swear the snowy on the left was about to fall off the perch!
