Processing images from a month or so ago. This one took a bit more processing than usual as the light was very flat and I need to punch it up a bit, hope I succeeded.

Grace that is hilarious. I love how the plover is slanting backwards pulling with all his might. Great moment captured nice soft light and low angle.
Plumage still looked very nice. Behavior captured is awesome. Processing is excellent, colors and contrast
have good "punch". A slightly elevated shooting angle would have been something to consider here, primarily
to eliminate or diminish the darker land showing at the top of the frame. And (maybe), the bird's far foot might
have shown itself too...Really enjoy the sense of determination you captured in the plover.
What a gem of a shot. I think the processing is excellent too, along with composition. I really like the timing and the slight movement in the left leg, it indicates there was a real tug of war there. I presume the plover won and the worm did not pull the plover down the hole!
Hi Grace, your excellent low angle has turned out well, and love the behavioural action captured. The angle of the worm and the raised foot of the Plover really show the 'tug of war' between the two, and I like BG. If anything, I would maybe crop off the darker band on top - just a slither. Did you manage to capture the moment the worm was finally pulled from his home. :w3
That's just fantastic.
Oh what a great moment captured! I could see a bit more sharpening on the bird, but otherwise wouldn't change a thing
Fantastic action shot, Grace. I'm surprised that you waited so long with the processing of such a great shot.
Wonderful image.Love the pose and adorable efforts and expression of the bird.

Satish.
excellent love the pose, it's a great behavioral photo
What's not to like? fantastic bs!

This is awesome! Love the action and that long stretched worm!
Man you can just feel the tension here! Amazing image, I love everything about it, including the dark band above.
Some one likes gum? nice plover and super nice BG! I like how hard this guy is working hard for its food!
Truly terrific behavior captured here, Grace. I would consider entering this in some contests.
That's really outstanding image!
Amazing moment captured here...Anymore room on the bottom?
Don't know what I like best, the raised foot or the tight as a bowstring worm....
Fantastic image Grace, the look of concentration is great.
Thanks everyone, this was fun to witness and photograph. A semipalmated plover was hovering, trying to get the worm from the bb plover and unfortunatly he invaded my frame and ruined the end of the story for me photographically, but the bb plover did prevail.
Excellent image Grace! I like the low angle, action, raised foot and BG.
