Interesting bird but.... Back looks sharper than the face. White shells distracting. The bird down in the water in front of the mud bank is less than ideal. Exposure looks fine. Seaweed is a bit distracting.

Love the plumage. Nice setting. Agree with previous comments regarding the shells. The seaweed looks fine to me.
There is a white bit on the bottom left hand side of the frame that looks out of place. Like you fixed level and missed
cropping that bit out or something...a minor detail, but looks strange.

re face sharpness going to have another look as 100 percent sure focus point was on eye. Either harsh lite or movement//
Against the bank was really frustrating but the bird refused to move an inch...
