Dall Ram horns reach 1/2 circle or "curl" in 2-3 years, 3/4 curl in 4 to 5 years, and full curl in 7 to 8 years. Rams can live to 16 years, ewes 19 years.

D700, 300 2.8 VR, f 11, 1/60, ISO 400, spot meter bright section of coat +1 2/3 stops.
