This past spring while I was guiding a group of photographers here on Vancouver Island one of my clients really inspired me with his commitment to getting a low angle shot of these beautiful ducks. The rocky shoreline can make this kind of image difficult but he was not to be deterred and got some really sweet images. I have to admit that I was jealous of the shots that he got and had to go back with my own camera a few weeks later to try for my own.

Beautiful image Glenn. The soft water looks wonderful and I love the individual catch-lights in all the water droplets. Is this full frame? I like the amount of space on the top and bottom of the image, but might be inclined to include more of the duck and less of the negative space on the right if this is a crop.

It's nice to get inspiored by others...you did well with the ultra low angle and usual perfect techs. Silky smooth water looks great. I bit of a darker area on the duck's white face makes me wonder if the burn tool was used there, but I could be wrong.
