Canon 7D

Quick question if I install new firmware on my EOS 7D will it loose all my current settings?

I cannot recall that I ever lost any settings while updating firmware with any camera. This would be a bug in the software. On the other hand, being a software developer myself, I know how often bugs happen :-)

No Mat, everything is saved, at least that is what has happened to me every time I have updated firmware.

Thanks for letting me know any idea when the new firmware is being released for thr 7D?

I haven't seen any specific date yet, but it will be available in August. Looking forward to it!
