Lorant:
Nice singing pose, colors, BG, exposure.
I would be tempted to take a bit off the top.
Perch is not ideal, but happy you captured this rare fellow.
Cheers
Randy
Hi Lorant, congrats on getting your first image of this species. Good singing pose with the open beak, and I like the complimentary colour of the BG. Comp wise, I would take a bit off the bottom to reduce the sight of the fence post perch, and leave the top as is. :w3
Nice work getting a new and endangered species. Great singing pose and bg. I don't mind the fence post, but I suppose a little less of it wouldn't hurt.
Very nice work and a very attractive sparrow. Perch is fine and very nice use of flash!
I like the way it is composed as is with post and space around bird. Lovely singing pose, and especially like the slightly bristled feathers to better show the sharpness of this one, sweet shot !
Never realised there were so many different species of Sparrows until this forum popped onto my PC
I love it just the way it is - especially those fluffy feathers.
loverly image,great BG,good details.thanks.
Congrats on the sighting and the image. Nice pose and detail with pleasing bg.

Rachel
Very nice shot. Love the pose, great feather detail, wonderful background, and very nice light.
Well done.
Congrats on the rarity. Perch not the best but there is just enough showing for my taste and it is coloured nicely with the rest of the image. Excellent BG. Beautiful singing pose but I do wish a bit better HA. Very nice overall!
Thank you for the comments, everyone. Today we went out to look for this bird at a place where a friend photographed them 10 years ago. Unfortunately all it's habitat is gone there and now there is agricultural land in it's place growing potatoes. In other place where it lives pine tree "reforestation" is going on...this bird doesn't live where there is pine. I hope it will survive all the changes we introduce to this planet. There is not much space left for this species anymore....
