Here's another image of the Main Street in Micanopy during our latest 5-day rainstorm. I took it through the windshield with the wipers off. I used Viveza 2 to increase the brightness and saturation and then Shadows and Highlights. This is Micanopy at rush-hour:S3: Just kidding, it was about 6 p.m.

Absolutely love those distortions from the water on the windshield. A wealth of images available to you here wet or dry. I'm still officially jealous.
Cheryl, I'm really enjoying these images...the distortions from the water across the windshield are so rich...now..if you you just send some of the rain this way! (Going on a week straight of 100+ temps with no relief in sight.) My one comment...could this use just a wee bit of CCW rotation?

Like your other "through a glass rainy" pic this one also enhances the out of time quality of the scene.
(the last time I was in Micanopy was about 20 yrs ago. Glad to see it has maintained its charm.)
Shooting through a wet windshield creates interesting images. I like the subtle distortions. I prefer your prior image of Micanopy through wet glass--better composition and the distortions more evident.
I really like the scene with the antique shot and the tree adds to it IMO. I'd like to see a little more contrast if it doesn't take away from the distortion too much.
This is beautiful, Cheryl. I like the composition a lot with the road bending away. The distortion works very well with the rain drenched view as is the subdued color. Excellent composition!
Nice look to this one Cheryl. It has a unique look. The blur adds nicely to the scene.
Hi, Mitch, I think it probably hasn't changed much in 20 yrs.:S3: I've lived here since 1986 and I think it looks exactly the same.
