Hi Sid,
Beautiful DOF, detail and POV in your image- I love it!!!
TFS and best wishes,
Mark.
Hi Sid,
plus one from here.Like it very much.
I would add to tone down the yellow flowers and the grass a tad to get more difference in the tones.Other thing is,the same as in your previous post the use of ND filter.I would try to use it only on the sky,in here the top of the mountains does have a blue cast.I think if you mask that out,it looks more natural.
WDYT ?
Cheers Andreas
Hi Sid, I like the way the BKG sections the scene in thirds so to speak, and then divides the Elk. Good techs & processing as usual, looks like this trip was productive too.

I like the pose and the colors. Very nice image. I know the Elk is on a slope but have you tried a 2-3' CW rotation to see how it would work. I like it!
This is a TOP CLASS portrait Sid! Love the IQ, the soft light, the details and the pose/BG combo. Levelling needs to be gauged here by the "verticalness" of the legs IMHO. :bg3:
Sid - gorgeous portrait with excellent techs and comp. I think I prefer the op but it also looks like a quick job on the repost (e.g. strong halo at top of mountains).
TFS,
Rachel
Great pose, head turn, light and colors. A wonderful shot of this elk.
A question: How are you satisfied with the 70-300mm F4-5.6 L IS? I am thinking about replacing my 4/70-200L IS with it.
Markus
Excellent shot Sid, I feel the image is level as posted and I prefer the OP. TFS, beautiful as usual.
Nicely posed with good FG and BG elements. Composition is good too but the overall image for me has cool, almost "clinical" (for lack of a better term) look to it. Unusual, as most of your posts look dead on for the conditions in which I imagine you captured them in.
Great pose and eye contact.
Sid,
As per normal for you an image of amazing beauty, the OP is perfect as is
Magnificent OP !!!!!!!!
Quite a handsom guy, a perfect pose and photograph. Love it!
Very fine image as usual. I like the op best. not sure of the comments on "level" as it looks spot on to me. Per your and Greg Basco's recommendation, have added the 70-300 to our bag for Africa. Looks like the mark iv is a marvelous tool in your hands
