Sandy Hook offers many photo opportunities for HDR (High Dynamic Range) capture. It is easy to create a grunge look with all of the dilapidated buildings and historical sites. I have put together an HDR Workshop titled “Capture and Create”. During our workshop we will photograph all around Fort Hancock which is a National Historic Landmark, Battery Potter, Battery Gunnison, Officer’ Row, The Lighthouse at Sandy Hook and many other spots of interest during the morning. We will break for lunch and then we will start the fun process of creating “grunge style” HDR images. We will use programs like Photomatix Pro, Nik HDR Efex Pro and Nik Color Efex Pro as well as Photoshop.
