This is a beautiful bird, lovely blue eye, and neat "hump" of feathers near the bill. Techs look good, and I like the background and colours. I'd sharpen some of the prey items a bit more. I would also crop some off the the top and left. The biggest issue here though is the HA, which is angled away from us...it would have been much more engaging for us had it been angled towards us.

The blue eye of this bird is quite striking! I can only echo Daniel's excellent critique.

Good critique from Daniel, plenty sharp and detailed. A head turn this way would have put beak and prey in the dof.

Very nice shot. Excellent feather detail, great background, and I too love the blue eye.
Well done.

yum yum...Centerpede for lunch...I hope it tasted better than it looks.

Lovely image Satish, the slightly raised feathers shown the fine detail well, and love the blue eye, rather nice colour tones in the background too, perhaps crop a little more from the top

Neat bird. Good techs on the image but with the bird facing away it just does not work for me....
