I had to add some blur on the bg here , it was very buzy .

His Kostas, you did a great job on the BG - blurred very nicely. The DOF is super here too as I am surprised you were able to get all the butterfly in focus at that angle. I normally prefer an angle with the wings parallel to the viewer so this top view seems a little different to me but nonetheless a fine image.

Kostas you did well, ideally I think it would have been better taken from a lower angle, but I am impressed with your DOF - well done.

I do rather like the slightly different angle for this shot, blurring the flower head perfectly, but the butterfly is brilliantly lit and sharp. I see you were at 180mm, but curious as to what lens you used as it is a very finely detailed image...very nice !

Canon EF USM 180MM , im new user of this lens and i love it !!!

Hi Kostas. The background was very nicely handled - I can't tell that you did anything to it - which is what you hope to achieve by blurring. The higher than "typical" shooting angle works for me because you got the entire butterfly in focus. Also nice lighting and comp. Very well done!
