loon territorial chase

The behavior captured this past week has been like no other. This loon was being chased by another in a territorial dispute, a fight that almost resulted in the death of this loon. The assault lasted almost 15 minutes, amazing!

Great capture, love all the action and water droplets, great eye capture, but I found myself confused looking to try and work the wing out due to the angle of the shot, I am sure it is easier on the eye in large format

Lovely action shot, I get the impression there is a green cast over the bird, I presume the surrounding trees reflecting off the water.
