Hi Sid, great to see these Bears having more of a share of the Forum and a nice break :S3:

Like Laurie's image, the incline of the tree really adds to the image, with a lovely soft BKG. Might look at dropping the Blue, selectively within the coat of the bear, apart from that, all looks very nice. Both content & crop are well balanced.

Judging on the Bears expression, he/she took a dim view of your presence, LOL.

Sid, pleasing composition with the tree angle, and bear placement. Exposure, and details spot on. Excellent work.

I like the dappled light and colors of the BG. Bear and tree are nicely placed in the frame and full of detail. Nicely done.

Hi Sid,
lovely expression of the bear, the tongue is outstanding!!!!
Fit very good with the tree and the BG.
The only nit i have is the fur color is a tad blue for my taste, checked with eyedropper in PS.

Check the RP and tell me your thoughts.

Cheers Andreas

Sid,

This guy looks like an experienced tree climber so I would guess that it is not a usual sight. I love his expression, you did a great job in capturing it.

The tongue adds a lot to the expressive impact of this photo! It makes it very funny! Well done!

I stopped by hoping to see some of your black bear images :) I think the amount of blue in the fur on your original post looks good.

Super moment here Sid! Love that tongue out...and the diagonal tree adds heaps.
I agree on the colour assessment by Steve, and Andreas' repost is a step in the right direction, though there's still some magenta in there.
