I was shocked to see these guys this morning at Ridgefield NWR, Washington state.
The same Owlets I took photos of in the tree nest a couple of months back. I couldn't believe they
were in the same area in the Open with the sun at my back!
The scream you night have heard an hour ago was me when I realized I clipped the tail!
I took this and then one of them flew, so it was the only opportunity to get both together.
Of course it turned and flew the wrong direction to get a good shot!
