Great natural moment, nice low angle and BG. Light angle isn't the best IMO and a little head turn would have been beneficial from the female. Great shot and congrats.

Caught in action for sure. Well captured, and I like the comp. I know Oystercatchers' bills and eyes can be very bright, but I'd be tempted to reduce the red channel a bit.

Hi Vivaldo, good exposure on the OC's, and you have captured the behaviour nicely. I like the variety of coloured sea vegatation, and your low angle works well.

Great behavior caught here. Excellent clean BG and terrific look at both eyes.
Interesting red coloration of the male bird's primary tip #3 and 4.
As the light was quite harsh I would desaturate the reds in the bill.
Otherwise, a very good image,
Gail

Excellent action captured here, nice work Vivaldo. i would agree on desaturating the reds. I think I see a reddish tone to the blue of the water as well. Wonderful image!

Thanks for comments and suggestions :S3: Here's a repost with reduced reds, looks better IMO.

Vivaldo,

Fabulous moment captured here, and a bird I have seen. Re-post with less red looks better to me

Vivaldo, good advice above to desat on red channel.

Loved this one. poses, the low angle, the habitat, the details... excellent. You also handled the tricky light angle pretty well.
