I have a pair of Bluebirds in my yard and theres 3 babies in the nest. Kinda hard to get the sun to work with me as my house and many trees block the wonderfull sunlight. Flash had to be used on this picture.

Mike,

Since you are a member, you can upload the image to the thread instead of a link.

If you want the photo to show up here from the link. then you need to point to the link in the upload box. In this case, you have pasted the link URL in the body. Image will not show up.

Image is awesome. Details, BG, clean BG, DOF...looks nice to me. The size is a bit small though.

I fixed the link for you, but as KD mentions as a paying member you can upload your images on BPN's server for your next threads. This will also generate a thumbnail for better visibility:S3: Also, putting down the exif for your image will help fellow posters to critique/learn.

Beautiful image overall, nice IQ, and I love the background. Good use of flash, just a tiny bit of steel-eye remnant still to darken. It must be nice to have these in your backyard! You must be awaiting the young ones to fledge!

Mike:

Nicely captured blue bird, appreciate the need for flash in some circumstances, I use it a lot at low levels to perk up the colors a bit.

The trick for me is to be as subtle as possible about it, so people can't really tell if flash was used or not!

Please do include your camera/lens and post processing info, really helps us understand and critique images.

Cheers

Randy
