Maureen, technically this one is really well done. The exposure and lighting look good as does the DOF. The blacks/whites are handled really well. I think I'd like to have seen this shot from a little more to the left and maybe from a slightly lower angle. As to the crop, IMO the negative space should be below the wasp instead of above it and at this angle, it should feel like the wasp is coming out of the ULC so I'd crop some off the left side. You're doing great with the light box and I'm looking forward to what's next! :S3:

Hi Maureen. You're getting really good at this! The sharpness and detail is excellent and I like the pose the wasp is giving you - though Ken's suggestion of a different shooting angle would also work well. I would agree with Ken about the comp, but these are just tweaks to a fine image! :S3:
