Previously I posted the exuvia and the damselfy when minutes old, this one is just beginning to develop colouring and is in the region of 18hr old.

Just beautiful detail on the damsel and the BG is perfect to really make it shine in the natural light. Very well done!

Wonderful light on this one and the way you lined up the 'fly with the yellow halo is great! Very very well done!

Hi Jonathan. You're really scoring big with these damselfly images! I like the simplicity of the comp and the yellow "halo" makes for a nice effect. Also beautiful light and excellent detail. Very nicely done! :cheers:

Thanks for the comments, I didn't think you would like the yellow - just shows as soon as I think I can anticipate your reaction you confound me:w3!! The yellow was a distant buttercup.
