Forgot all about these so here is a slightly different image from the throttling series.

A young Leopardess crushes the head of an even younger Warthog, taking in appalling light the sun was setting behind the tree!

Ken - light wasn't on your side but you did well under the circumstances. Nice that the pov seems to be straight on even though the leopard was up a tree.

Ken light wasn't great but what a sighting. Would add more saturation or even try B&W on this image.

Ken light wasn't great but what a sighting. Would add more saturation or even try B&W on this image. IMO flash could have help alot, would have helped this image pop alot more.

What a shot ,excellent even under the poor lighting situation .I tried quickly to do some stuff on the colors ,but i was struggling to get something decent in short time.
Maybe tomorrow.
All the rest work well for me.

Cheers Andreas

Hi Ken,
A majic capture. Sometimes we have to seize the moment and you have done that. I would definitely do a black and white conversion of this image.
TFS,
Mark.

Thanks everybody, I will try a B& W when I am fully awake:w3
I rarely use flash but do not mind a spotlight now and again, in this case spotlight would have made little difference, if we had been the other side of the tree and she turned to face us then this would have probably been a bit better, but you make the most of what you are given, it was great to watch though only my third ever Leopard kill.
