Another snowy owl image from Damon Point, WA. I am not sure if this is an actual nest or not.

Nice habitat shot. How were you able to be eye level? Love the eyes, TFS.

Beautiful Arash, just love the dark BKGD and white owl. Good low angle adds interest.

This is from Jan-Feb this year? Or have you been back? (the area is supposed to be fully closed off for Snowy Plover nesting after April 1 by the way).

That grass tussock looks familar -- was this from when you , Doug and I were up there?

Beautiful specie, the shot is amazing, everything is perfect. The white bird against the dark BG is half of the picture and those yellow eyes make the other half, all the rest are details :)

Lovely image.

SO's don't nest anywhere near WA state though.

Excellent picture, Arash. These guys should be high up North by now.

Nice one Arash, nothing like the 180 degree head turn for these guys.
The best view possible.

Love how the white pops against that brown BG. Stunning image with your usual IQ. Nice sense of habitat too.

Hey Don, yes from the first trip. You guys were shooting the perched owl when I got this :)

I found and angle with no obstruction, then sat down and waited until he turned his head. Because it was overcast it was possible to shoot from all angles!
