Nice portrait, that's for sure. You've really brought out the detail in this fine bird. And: lucky you! Yikes almighty, I'd love to see one of those...I'm a real sparrow novice and saw a savannah for the first time yesterday...

Pretty much as good as can be Grace, image quality, background, and the perch with open bill make it an excellent pic for me.

For me is perfect, BG is great, like the perch, and the open beak is an extra...

Funny you post this as I just photographed this awesome species yesterday! Great calling pose and perch and beautiful green BG. I'd love to see this guy a little higher in the frame with a bit more perch showing.

Sweet, nice calling pose and perch. I like as posted and can see a vertisal as well.

Those aren't easy to see much less get a good photo. I think the image is a little bright though and I would try sliding back the exposure. I also think the bird looks a little lost in that expanse of light olive green and I would go for a tighter crop .
