This is Alaus myops, the Blind Click Beetle and it was shot in the light box. I went with a slightly higher angle on this one because I wanted those cool eye-spots to be visible.

Cropped, curves, contrast, smart and high-pass sharpening.

Very nicely done Ken. I like the white background. A cool looking bug with great eye spots. Nice work!

Hi Ken. This may be one of your best light box shots! (Among other things, you got both antennae razor sharp! :bg3:) I like the alert pose, the sharpness and detail, the comp, and the higher angle shows off the eye-spots well. Very well done! :cheers:

This looks great in high key Ken...very well done and I do like the angle you chose. Those eye spots are cool.
