Spent the weekend over in Southern France with some friends to photograph the European Bee-Eaters down there. Very scarce and beautiful birds and we had a great time.
Here's one of the many images i got down there..

Beautiful species and I love the interaction! Looks sharp where it needs it and while I thought I wouldn't like the 2 toned BG.......it doesn't bother me at all! Very nicely done!

Hi Jeroen, good interaction between the two bee-eaters, sharp, and the colours look spot on. Sweet BG, and maybe a touch tight on the RHS.

Was this a set up, looking at the perch?

I love the color palette. Great HA and the fanned tail adds to the image. Really terrific shot ( again),

Stunning. Love the interaction, the colors, and I like the unconventional dorsal view with wings and tail spread.

Lovely interaction between the two and the colors, perch and BG are great. I would consider a slight curves adjustment to give it just a tough more contrast.
