Hi Troy,
What a wonderful opportunity you have with this nest.
I would crop this to include only the part of the tree. There is so much "tree" that it overwhelms the little guy! A vertical comp would look nice and the diagonal tree line would add a real nice touch to this image. I would also tone down the branch that is behind and above the owl's head.

Troy, nice. I am actually liking the overwhelming trunk here. A different image...liked the details and the composition.

Very sweet. I like his gaze, the light, and tend to lean towards the large trunk as shown, because it emphasizes his small stature. Agree with Gail about toning down the stick behind his head.

I could see burning in the trunk a bit so it isn't quite so dominant in the image however.

Great opportunity, well utilized.
