Interesting idea Valerio! I wish the fern wasn't cut off by the top of the frame. Also, I think this image would have been stronger when you had put the focus on the center of the curl. With the shallow DOF you used, that would have created a great 3D feel to the image. Lovely colors and textures!

Hi Valerio....I too love ferns uncurling. I agree with focus suggestion already made. You might also consider toning down that LRC and having more dof next time

Valerio, I agree with others that this is a good subject but with the shallow DOF, the focus really needed to be in the center of the curl. I would also like to see a version with enough DOF to get the entire curl in focus. Considering the shape of this subject, a square crop or maybe a vertical crop with more of the frond showing would look better. I'm definitely looking forward to your other shots of this subject. :S3:

The maximum dimensions allowed are 1024 wide and 800 tall. If the system is telling you the size of your file is 800 x 1024, that should mean that your file is 1024 tall which is too big. Please check the size of your file and if this is not correct, please let me know so I can try to find out if there is something wrong in the BPN system.
