I saw the Albino Nutria again this morning and thought those not familiar with these large rodents might enjoy
a photo of their lovely tail!
Nicer water he/she was swimming in today.

Dan,
I just love this guy. I like the composition and the blissful feeling he captures as he swims along. I never thought I would say these things about a rat!!Great low angle and nice ripples in the water,

Unique find Dan. Now we got them in Northern Florida too. Recently they found one south in West Palm beach.

Dan - another nice one in the series. Interesting that the tail looks more brown than white.

Hi Dan, if you look to cropping from the top, just below where the 'mossy/lime green' area is, (about a third down and about a third in from the RHS) making the image more pano, the subject I think sits well and is more defined within the even tonal BKG. Just a thought. :w3

Hi Dan, the rat looks likes he's enjoying his swim, and well exposed on the whites. I agree with Steve to take a touch off the top. I dont mind that the eye is closed, shows off the blissful swim he's having. :w3

If these guys are anything like our "Greater Cane Rat", which are also huge beaver-like rodents, then I get shivers down my spine...our guys are UG-LYYYY :eek3: (although having them in white would be a bit better).
Nice study here to show the tail. Good suggestions by Steve.
