The day we were en route to Sesriem, it was raining so heavly that we couldn't enter the reserve. Both rivers were completly flooded, as were the gravel roads. We only managed to cross the rivers the following day. The reserve was accessibile on the tar road but from the 4x4 point, it was "walking" only. With the river flooded, the 4x4 road was non existent......so much for being in the dessert.

Hi Vilvaldo

I think this is a great image... Nice soft colours, all very complimentary and lots of interesting line in the dunes to lead the eye around. If I were to wish for anything it would be a bit more interest in the sky..

I like the line across the water; the colors and reflection are well done. I too would prefer a more interesting sky; if it were mine I would replace the sky.

In the water there are dots of some type in several places that I would remove as they catch the eye and disturb the unbroken reflection.

Vivaldo - an unusual capture of the area. I like it too. The colors and reflection work well. While the sky may not have much interest, it is what it was on that day.

Rachel

Thanks Rachel, agree with you on sky. Adding clouds would spoil the reflection IMO.

Such a unique way to view this particular landscape and you captured it well. I particularly like how the dunes in the BG are still wet...the reflections are special...

I agree with Morkel and others, this is picture perfect. No sky replacement needed.:Whoa!:

Vivaldo,

I would love to see this place wet one day, in the meantime I will make do with your image, which is to unknowledgable landscape mind as good as it could be, the skys are so blue there.
