Found this rather young male lazing around in typical fashion, we waited to see if he and his friend they would get up and they did.
Some blood from the previous nights kill can be seen so clearly morning ablutions had not been performed:w3

Well exposed considering the light angle...A bit tight for my taste awould like to see the head a bit more towards us

Interesting, makes me stop and look longer, the first thing required of a good photo.

Ken
I liked it lot , tightness works for me so the side angle, I haven't seen many images of cat yawning with side angle

Ken - I like the side profile and your timing was good. IQ also looks very good. I just wish for a tad more room to the right.

nice side-on profile of this behaviour, Ken
the clarity and detail in the canines is what makes it for me :eek3:

Hi Ken
good capture here.IQ is just right, but i would go a bit further in composition .i would crop from the LHS to give the image more room to the rightß
WDYT? Andreas

Andreas,
Thanks, this is full frame, and I am afraid hand holding through an open window with a narrow viewing angle meant I did not get the space I would have liked

Ken,
my suggestion was just to choose a different comp, even if you have the same equipment.you only have to move the camera a bit more to the right.that was my first thought, sorry.
Cheers Andreas

Andreas,
Sorry that you thought that my comment was critical of your critique, I was just trying to explain the circumstances that made it difficult to get the angle I needed.
