Been very busy lately and just returned from Florida where I finally met Chas and Mike Milicia. I did get out to check out a few new workshop locations for next year and just shoot for myself......doesn't happen often now! The least terns were very busy copulating and courting......even a few eggs which the Ghost Crabs were after. Hope to work on one of those too.....too little time and too much to do as usual!Canon 1D Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800 @ 800mm tripod mounted, wimberly v1 head, standing in the surf, at f/9 for 1/3200 sec. and ISO 800.

Wonderful image, Roman. Strong compositional elements add to the story being told. Well done.

Roman:

Beautifully constructed image, love the wing position of male pointing along the diagonal, well exposed, very sharp, fish offering, clean beach, all great.

Congrats on a fine one!

Cheers

Can't add much to say for this fine image...well, ok, too bad the fish isn't the other way around to see its face:t3 Love it, especially the strong lines found within.

Hey Roman, I like the low perspective here, and both terns well exposed and tack sharp. The far wing diagonally across the frame works so well, as does the tiny fish. Well timed to capture the behaviour.

Great stuff....interaction, food item, nice black/white exposure. Lemme guess, Marineland/Matanzas Inlet area? (I live here and this behavior has been hot and heavy lately.)
