Harshad,

Interesting composition here, I know you have tried to keep the full length of the tail on this but believe it has resulted in too my eyes a slightly unbalanced feel, perhaps a little more on the RHS may help or even reduce the LHS as the then missing tail is easily explained by the grass

Harshad - cute cub and nice clear view. I find the darker sloping line in the bg to perhaps be adding to the unbalanced feel that Ken mentioned. How about going tighter and taking some from the top and left? I also think the yellows are a bit strong and would look at reducing them.

Rachel

Lovely poae and nicely out in the open. I like the comp suggestions and not sure on the sharpening as it looks a little coarse. Love to come on one of your tours some day!

Here is RP but I still feel that OP is best :)) :))

Hi Harshad, firstly if you take the OP and apply say 1.6 CCW rotation that addresses both the BG and the subject seems to sit better, sorry no pun intended. :w3

Providing there is enough image and you re-crop to the same format, then I feel this looks a little lost in frame. I full realise why you have gone with the choice of crop and the RP highlights that, the cropped tail. So perhaps this might be an alternative option, WDYT?

BTW - Not sure if you have changed anything in you workflow, but compared to some of the more recent postings, this has a lot more sharpness and clarity in the subject??? Looks good.

Great image Harshad, lovely detail and personally i like the OP, the colours dont look off to me and i like the space around it too, although a little more space to the right may strengthen the comp.

Me too, in Steve's re-post the colours do not look right at all

To steps, CCW rotation, cropped. No colour change as the file was left as original profile and then saved as an sRGB file for web presentation.

I cant see the color change between Steves and OP but I have to agree the OP comp works best!
