View Full Version : A Tortoise checks me out!

I spotted this tortoise at the same lake where I found the colorful turtle, saw at least 3-4 species of turtles and tortoises there (The lake is in the heart of the city amidst rocky hills). The guy had his head up as if he was checking me out!:bg3:

Hi Sanjeev, personally I feel this isn't working and the subject is rather lost in frame and the rock is just too dominant. Even cropping in quite tight, still doesn't help, although I the do like the head posture. It looks as if you had to deal with some bright light, offering rather flat, almost mono chromatic colours. Shooting early or later in the day will give you better and more controlled light.

I think your previous posting was better.
