Got this lone bull a little after sunrise. Didn't look like he'd had his morning cuppa yet. 7D, 1-400L, f6.3, 1/640s, ISO 500, HH, cropped some off top and left.

Nice DOF and very nice details on the Buffalo.

Hi Steve, like the eye contact on this one, you get the feeling you could lose you hands in that thick coat. :bg3: Personally I would move the whole crop up, just to the foot of the yellow wild flowers, thus adding more above.
Didn't look like he'd had his morning cuppa yet. - I know the feeling, but thought you guys drank coffee. :w3

He sure looks "down and out"...nice low angle here Steve! :bg3:
Minor nit but what about adding a sliver of space to the LHS? Just feels a tad tight for me personally there...
I agree with Steve on moving it all up a notch compositionally...

Hi Steve
like the image as shown from the technical side in terms of color ,detail.but i would agree with Steve for cropping a bit from the bottom.

Steve - nice to get a clear shot of the eye of the one of these. IQ looks good. I agree with the comp suggestions. Also there's a slight halo along the rhs of the bison's body.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I "forced" myself to go with this crop, putting one of the ROT points near the area between the horn and eye. Talked myself out of my original version :2eyes2:.

Steve,I was playing to our international audience on this one though I did develop a taste for tea during my time in the UK :w3.

Steve,
Very nice indeed, I agree with the suggestion of taking a little from the bottom. I prefer tea myself:w3
