Like the pose of the Kingfisher with the intense stare. The blues really stand out against the dark background which I also like. Bird is sharp and well exposed. Would like a tighter crop and a better perch. But, they do not always land where you tell them to. TFS

Killer pose, bird looks like its ready to launch, nice colors. Nice capture and composition..

I know that many BPN members don't like changing their images via Photoshop but the images can be so much stronger. As long as what they've done is disclosed.
Hope its ok that I made some changes, Thanks

Hi Gaurav, I like the agressive pose, typical of another kingfisher in the vicinity. Lovely striking colours, and they do stand out against the darker BG. I do like what Paul has done, if you are fine with removing elements.

Great pose...but unfortunately the head went behind the branch..slightly higher head position would have been ideal. Colors, contrast, light, dark BG...liked it all.

I like the idea of what Paul has done, however, with this pose the edit gives the bird a look of being suspended in the air.

Thanks Kaustubh, I agree with you.
