My favorite duck, the Cinnamon Teal, I can't get close to them on water and I was not really close for this one.
I have no idea what it was doing in the swamp grass, a hundred feet from the water.
Big crop, 20% of original.

Hi Dan, good low angle, and I like the alert pose. Are the droplets dew, or had it rained? I would maybe take a touch off the top.

Dan, very nice. It's great to have all those pixels to throw away and still have an image. Well done. I'm retiring end of June, and hope my D800E gets here by then, or at least while I'm still among the living.

Your shots make me wish for a return to Oregon.
