Hello everyone. While out shooting some wigeons this guy/gal came pretty close to me. I have a lot of images of this coots, but I can never pass up the oppertunity to shoot a couple of frames.

Hi Robert, great low angle here, and you have nailed the exposure on the coot so well. Lovely soft light, and just love their red eyes - no different to our coots here. I would try a version with a slight CCW rotation.

Angle to the bird, exposure, pose, and water droplet on the bill all very good. The BLACKs look a bit over-lightened....
