Out at the wetlands center south of Atlanta yesterday and spied this little guy scampering up a tree.

Sweet. A male green anole showing you his dewlap. The photo looks a little soft around the eye to me, though.

That was at 1/85 sec handheld, f8, 400mm. The lens is a 100-400. I thought I might have had a slight bit of movement. I went back and took a crack a sharpening a bit more, perhaps a tad too much for my taste.

It looks better on the lizard but a little over-done elsewhere. Maybe some selective sharpening on the lizard and also maybe some noise reduction on the background.

Hi Jim. Nice job of capturing the Anole with his dewlap extended! The sharpening on the lizard itself in the repost is an improvement and I like how it brought out the texture in the dewlap, but the rest of the image looks a little oversharpened. Good suggestion above by Kevin on how to tweak your repost to make it stronger. :S3:

I'm in complete agreement with Kevin.....this simple fix should help take this one up a few levels!
