It's good to share your work with others. BPN is a great way to do that, because the feedback you get enhances your future capabilities. But another good way to share bird images is through your local bird clubs.

Even if you don't belong to one, bird clubs in your area are most interested in presentations of good bird photography to enhance their programs. And they are easy to find and to contact. In our area, Linda and I have presented programs on our travels to bird clubs in two Maryland counties. Our recent efforts involve a program based on our recent Antarctica excursion, and we have prepared an extensive presentation augmented by two short videos and two automated slideshows, with added music soundtracks.

You can promote your presentation with a simple poster, which can be printed and posted locally. And an image of the poster can be sent to the bird club, for distribution and viewing on computers by the members. An example of such a poster is attached.

Just some food for thought that you might want to explore.

This is a great idea Norm, and it would help to mend some of the bridges that have developed over the years between birders and photographers.
