Doing a bit of a stretch before deciding to flight or fight. In the end it decided I could be ignored.

This is really lovely Dave. I love the soft muted light and the pose. I am happy with the comp as well but can see this with a bit more room in front. I really like the soft small granules of sand and how the sand merges into the shoreline. A keeper for sure,
Gail

I like the mood of the image with the creamy colors and soft light. Nice pose and great low angle. For me it feels like it would have been better if the bird turned a few degrees towards you. Well done.

Love the pose do wish you had just a tad more head turn, when i first open this I thought this would make a nice BW just something to consider

Hi Dave, a good behavioural stretch captured here, and I like your low angle of capture. The light looks nice and soft, and the browns of the plover pop really well.
