I'm back from a great photo trip to Costa Rica with thousands of images to sort through. This Red-eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) was a captive. They are nocturnal and thus difficult to find during the day. 1D IV, 70-300mm f/4-5.6L, 1/250, f/6.3, ISO 200, tripod, natural light. NR on the background. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Hi Steve, I really like the composition of this. Those red eyes peeking over the leaf and seeing the bottom of the feet from below- quite cool. Great background too. Well done and welcome back!

Good for you! Lots of wonderful images I can imagine. I like this a lot. I like the diagonal of the leaf, the shadow of the frog and the size of the frog in the frame emphasizing its small size. Very well done!

Hey Steve, I knew you'd come back with some great shots! This one rocks! The head looks great but I really like that you can see the feet and the outline of the body through the leaf.
