WOW!! Well done Bill. He/she looks like an Olympic diver. Love the pose and great BG. Can you tease out a bit of detail under the birds' left wing? well done and wish this was in my files,
Gail

Gail,

I believe this to be a male, but it is difficult to be sure with this species. The female has more green on the back and sides. This repost has a bit of detail under the left wing "teased out", but it is not much and is difficult to see at such low resolutiion. Had I gone further, it would have been more like "manufacturing" than "teasing".

Thanks for the kind words,
Bill

Great image. Feather detail is a little soft, but this one is all about the pose - very striking.

This is all about the pose, yes. Terrific shot. Agree with Doug about a round of sharpening.
