Lovely bird in killer plumage. Good head angle, nice light and composition with the bird back in the frame. You might try selecting the iris with a Quick Mask and desaturating the red channel 10-15 points.

Nice capture Jim. I saw this guy yesterday afternoon but he was too quick to go under each time I tried grabbing him. The few shots I did manage of him were in less than ideal lighting and terrible angles so I stuck to target aquisition practice with the Terns.
