Hi

Out and about today but difficult conditions; came away with just this shot of a lone BHG (there are thousands just across the road from it lol)

Capture is full frame and I was able to get a nice low angle; so no crop, and just NR/SS

f 13 Ev +1.33 ISO 640 SS 1/640 - thought Id try smaller aperture as my 100-400 might be better there when you can; camera is 7D

Hi Richard, I might try and open up some more detail in the head, and allow that red eye to come through. I would also look at applying a Linear burn to the whites to bring more detail back in, and or, drop the exposure a fraction on the whites of the chest. Not sure if it's a fraction too much Red or Magenta coming through based on the mud & grasses?
