Very intimate shooting angle, adds a lot in this closeup. Sharp, well exposed.

Interesting that the pupil is so large in this very bright light.

Water colors are very complimentary to the hen.

Amazing POV , lovely ,sharp and nice colours . The use of DOF again is very very nice , though I feel the sharpness falling off at the front end of the beak .

Lovely picture with great details and depth of field. I agree that it would be even better with softer light (but great job with the light you had) and slightly more room in the frame.
