Same series as the last shot (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/96289-Pelican-preening?p=782743#post782743). cropped a bit tighter. All comments welcome.

Another great shot Kaustubh..Beautiful exposure, BG, Pose and once again, for me, eye makes the difference in this image as well..I liked the tighter crop on this.

Kaustubh:

Another lovely one, nice techs, colors, pose. I really like the repeating curves of the head, white feathers on left wing, and partial curve on right wing. If you had a sliver more on the right below that would visually complete that curve a bit more, without goofing up something else, that might be interesting.

Cheers

I love how my eye was drawn right to that eye. Really nice close look at this one. I like the tight crop

I like tight crops so it works for me. Did you try a vert? May have worked too. Great details and whites too!

I would like to see this as a vertical. Your exposure is perfect and what a great view of " the breeding bump" on bill,
Gail

Nice shot KD. I like the cottony look of the whites on the neck and of course, the look from the eye.

Excellent close up. Whites exposed perfectly, detail is amazing, great pose, and wonderful eye contact.
Very well done.
