Nice, Karl...I wonder if we were there at the same time? I went back a few more times, looking for more and more and more...an addictive duck, to be sure...

Sweet head angle Karl but I might straighten this a touch.

I wonder what the result would be if you took this at a lower angle.

Great HA for sure. Very nice job with techs Karl.

Disagree on the head angle.... It is turned a bit too much towards us. Sharp with a nice low angle. Post did well with the off-angled light. How did you get low when Jack could not ? :)

ps: You might consider losing the single large white speck on the cheek....

Thanks Artie.
I was sitting on a foam pad right at the edge of the water, leaning back so I was able to look into the viewfinder
while my feet were partially in the water. I used the tripod stretched out at the lowest position.
Going down is OK with me. Getting up I need help as people noticed it before. But my wife is always with me.:S3:

very nice low angle and sharp details, I tend to agree with Artie that head parallel to the back of camera is the nicest pose for these guys but you still did a good job.

next milestone will be sweet warm light to bring out those colors and head parallel to the back of camera ;)

The low-angle police! Forgive me, Karl, for invading your post...I'll explain myself in my own post...

Hi Karl, good low perspective, and I do like the detail and colours on this fellow - pops so well from the semi high key water BG.
