My kind of image Chas. Love it.
I guess getting all of it sharp with the 70-200 would've been a tough ask? I know it would place the horizon in the centre, but have you considered a pano crop from the bottom to right above that RHS stump? It places the bear at a stronger point for me personally while still retaining some of the FG blossom colour? :e3

Chas,

This is cerainly very different, the water looks frozen,
I tend to agree with Morkel on cropping some from the bottom.

Chas - This is beautiful, the layers of color work so well.

The layers and colors are beautiful, topped off by the dramatic sky. Really a lovely image, well seen.

The look of the water is dreamy. BG compliments that look well. Dark bear stands out if perfect contrast to the water. I am having some trouble with all the OOF vegetation in the FG. I think Morkel's suggest has merit.

I trust you have one created at a bit higher elevation from this one. :)

Hi Chas
absolutly love this image.... one of the best I have seen in a while... the composition is perfect... if you cut lower part of image as suggested .. you would loose the symmetry ..

may just do selective dodge/burn to sky to make the sky even more dramatic

gorgeous
big congrats:cheers:
