Hi Jon

Great shot, lovely pose, colors and exposure,(great yellow) maybe a little higher in the frame or add to base?
some noise in bg here - easy to sort

Excellent sharpness, look back pose, diagonal perch and bg. A killer image for sure.
I'd move up further up in the frame a bit. My eyes are probably tricking me, but I see some PP artifacts on the perch on the right side.

Very good Jonathan, the bird and most of the perch look really good. There is something wrong all the way up the right side including the perch.

Just spotted it Jack - yes I agree, will go back to the RAW and see what is going on, this sometimes happens when using content aware, I should have brushed over the area I probably thought the NR would have neutralised any artifact. Thanks for pointing it out.
Just had a quick shufty - yes that is precisely what happened, the feeder was very close to I had remove it and extend the perch - adding canvas with content aware was the most expedient way to achieve this.

Other than the bit on right side very well done. Nice look back pose, perch and bg. Nice to see the back side of the bird.

nice details, soft light and nice BG. I'd run NR on the BG in places that are grainy

Hi Jon, you have brought out the exposure and colour on this guy very well, and you pretty much nailed the sharpness too. I agree about moving him up a touch, and can see a slight crop from the RHS too. :w3

Soon you will be in summer and then you can have as much light as you like. :w3:w3
